Greater Burgundy Rises: A Sovereign Nation for a Rooted Europe<\/strong><\/p>\n

Greater Burgundy is a people’s community, uniting Burgundy, Lorraine, Savoy, Picardy, Luxembourg, and Wallonia in a historic surge. We affirm our will to restore a strong community, rooted in our heritage and freed from the chains of modernity. This manifesto proclaims our vision and ambitions, as Burgundians, for a Europe of peoples. Open to all Europeans who cherish our past, this movement galvanizes souls around a shared history and destiny.<\/p>\n

1. Greater Burgundy: An Eternal people<\/strong><\/p>\n

Greater Burgundy encompasses 20 million souls, with a GDP of 800 billion euros (2024), uniting lands bound by history: Burgundy, Lorraine, Savoy, Picardy, Luxembourg, Wallonia. Our emblem, the Cross of Burgundy, embodies the strength and unity of a nation that refuses to vanish.<\/p>\n

The Duchy of Burgundy, under Philip the Good, dominated Europe in the 15th century, federating territories to the North Sea. Savoy, sovereign until 1860, and Lorraine, a pivot of empires, carried a transregional ambition. These lands, shaped by Celtic, Roman, and Germanic heritages, are the legitimate cradle of our state. We resurrect this spirit to build Greater Burgundy, a keystone of a resurgent Europe.<\/p>\n

2. Our Vision: A Break with the French Revolution<\/strong><\/p>\n

We seek to transcend the legacy of the French Revolution, which shattered identities, imposed destructive centralism, and promoted abstract universalism.

Imperial<\/em>: Like Rome, we unite our regions in a harmony that celebrates their differences, far from republican leveling.<\/p>\n

3. Our Ambitions: An Independent Power<\/strong><\/p>\n

Greater Burgundy breaks free from artificial nation-states. Our goals are clear:<\/p>\n

Sovereignty<\/em>: Establish an independent state by 2040, with a Parliament in Dijon, through democratic referendums in each region, respecting legal frameworks.<\/p>\n

Cultural Restoration<\/em>: Revive regional languages (Picard, Walloon), ancestral festivals, and natural sites to reconnect with our collective soul.<\/p>\n

Prosperity<\/em>: Federate our economies\u2014Burgundian viticulture, Lorraine industry, Luxembourg finance\u2014for a dynamic, thriving Burgundian state.<\/p>\n
